As soon as you say yes to the dress, submit an inquiry! It does NOT matter how far in the future your wedding is, we are working retroactively from your wedding date. It is normal to not have a gown arrival date.
Receive Proposal
Once your inquiry is approved, you'll receive a personalized proposal outlining our services and how we can best assist you. This step ensures we're the perfect fit for your alteration needs. Your proposal will be valid for 7 days.

Secure your spot with us by selecting your preferred fitting package, signing the contract, and paying your deposit. This commitment ensures dedicated time and attention for your gown.
Book your Initial Consultation
100 days before your wedding date, you'll receive a booking link to schedule your initial consultation. This allows ample time to plan and perfect your alterations.
Initial Consultation
During your initial consultation, we'll create a detailed alterations plan tailored to your gown and desired fit. By the end of this appointment, you'll have a clear quote and all your future fittings conveniently scheduled.
Progress Fittings
Now it's time for your dress to be transformed. Attend your scheduled fittings where we'‘ll make sure we are moving in the right direction and make adjustments.

The ONLY way to secure your spot in my alterations schedule is to pay your deposit or purchase your fitting package. Submitting an inquiry form will NOT guarantee your spot. Your inquiry approval will only be approved for 7 days after submission. If your submission approval expires, you will have to inquire for availability again.
How far in advance should I book my bridal alterations?
You should secure your alterations spot as soon as you order your gown - this means paying your deposit. We usually close our books 2-3 months in advance, so you want to make sure your spot in guaranteed. We will begin alterations 12-8 weeks before your wedding date.
I do not have my dress yet, can I schedule an appointment?
Appointments become available 100 days before your wedding, but you can SECURE your alterations spot!

Can you accommodate last-minute alterations or rush orders for brides with tight timelines?
Yes, at an additional rush fee and if availability allows. Any alterations that require less than 6 weeks to turn around are subject to rush fees.

How long does the alteration process typically take?
Typically 3 months. I offer a 30-90 day turnaround and will schedule your gown pick up 10-30 days before your wedding as availability allows. This buffer gives us flexibility in case any of us gets sick and need to reschedule any appointments.
Exceptions: Life happens, nothing to worry about! I offer less than a 30 days turnaround and even a 3 day turn around for bridal emergencies at an additional cost.
Can you accommodate changes in my body shape or weight closer to the wedding date?
Absolutely, the key to this is COMMUNICATION! Whether you're on a weight loss journey or trying to get pregnant, always always let me know what is going on. This will allow me to create a tailored (no pun intended) timeline for your alterations and give you all the peace of mind possible. Always remember: Alterations are consequential, they should not restrict or govern your lifestyle. So you do you girl and let me worry about the rest!
How many fittings will I need for my gown?
This depends on the complexity of your gown and the alterations needed. Plan to come in for a minimum of 3 appointments (initial consultation, progress fitting and pick up appointment).
Do you provide steaming or pressing services for the gown before the wedding?
I do! You can find more about the additional services I offer on my services page.
What is the average cost of bridal alterations?
Average cost ranges from $750-$1000. The fit, design, fabric and embellishment of your gown determines the ultimate cost of alterations and there is no way of knowing that exact number until you have an in person consultation. I DO NOT provide quotes, estimates, ballparks, hints or guesses WITHOUT an initial consultation.
What should I bring to my alteration appointments?
Your dress, wedding shoes, shape wear and any accessories you want to try out. You can also bring your veil if you want it steamed. If you are planning on getting your reception dress or rehearsal dinner dress altered, please let me know in advance.
What types of alterations do you specialize in?
I love complex alterations, and I think lately bust reconstructions have been my favorites.
Do you offer customizations or embellishments for my gown?
I do, during your consultation I will advise on needed alterations and then you will have time to tell me about your bridal vision and we will discuss and design modifications together. There is no need to find your materials for these things, I am your personal shopper for all things gown!
