I studied fashion design at UT Austin, but my true passion for making clothes sparked when I studied pattern making in Florence, Italy. I realized that my place in the fashion world was not to think of beautiful ideas but to execute them flawlessly. I love being an extremely technical seamstress and that passion led me to the world of bridal alterations.
After I took my first client, I recognized something no other project or job had given me: fulfillment and purpose.
I fell in love with being able to give brides confidence by making their gowns fit their bodies perfectly. I started my alterations practice in 2020 and have only grown from there. I work out of my home studio and take a lot of pride in being known for my open communication style. I like to build strong relationships with my clients and get to know them, make the alterations process a breeze and most importantly: HAVE FUN. When you’re in an appointment with me I like to create a friendly environment, get rid of any negativity and of course, hear all the wedding tea!

He makes sure that we always have the best technology available to give you all a seamless, stress-free alterations experience. He also occasionally threads needles in the studio!

Meet Reagan, our Chaos Coordinator, aka our Studio Assistant. She specializes in organizing daily tasks, more importantly, functioning as Alex’s External Hard Drive. Her mission is to turn chaos into a perfectly streamlined bridal experience for every client. While our alteration specialists focus on the stitches, Reagan keeps the studio and staff perfectly organized. She is the secret ingredient that keeps our magic orderly and your fittings stress-free.

While he works behind the scenes, James is the charismatic anchor who ensures our "performance" is flawless and the vibes are always high.

Elise is our sewing assistant who brings extra sparkle to the studio. She is in her final year of college studying theatre. She has a steady hand, love for fine details and a knack for getting bustles just right. You’ll usually find her serenading (or full-on belting) showtunes to your gowns while she works. Mark my words- you heard it here first: when Elise becomes famous we are SO namedropping her!

Human Chloe, not to be confused with Dog Chloe! With 21 years of sewing experience, Chloe is a master of gown architecture. She specializes in corsetry, historical construction, and the technical nuances of fitting asymmetrical bodies. Her background in hand-sewn historical reenactment costumes informs her obsession with the small, structural details that ensure a flawless finish.

Diana brings a touch of magic and a lot of technical power to the sewing machine. She’s a meticulous seamstress who ensures every bride looks immaculate, focusing on the sharp details that make a gown stand out. Diego, my 8 year old Malti-poo looking dog (we don’t really know what he is) will pretend to be feisty when you arrive, but then will retreat to his special chair in the fitting room and take a snooze during every appointment. Beware: He is an empath and will give you away if you’re having a tough day!
Chloe
Bridal Emotional Support Dog
Chloe, my 14 year old miniature schnauzer, may be almost deaf, but she will still boss your bridal party around for pets. During appointments she quietly observes (maybe judges too) everything I do and is my little shadow. If you’re lucky enough, she might pose with you during your before/after photos.
